MALIBU BOATS WINS CSI AWARD FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Widely known as the leading measurement of consumer satisfaction in the marine industry, the NMMA’s CSI awards have recognized Malibu Boats again in 2013. This prestigious award includes both the Malibu and Axis Wake lines of watersports towboats.
With a strict set of guidelines, an independent marketing group surveys customers after delivery of their boat as well as nine months later. This unbiased survey scores on a 100-point scale, and those with a 90 or above are eligible for this honor.
Malibu has always received numerous awards every year, but in the opinion of CEO Jack Springer, the CSI award is at the top. “Our customers mean everything to us,” Springer said. “Being able to deliver a quality boat that causes this type of customer recognition and holds its value is something we focus on every day at the factory. To be able to win this award each year shows our commitment to our customers and our ability to deliver the best experience on the water through Malibu's versatile line of towboats.
About the CSI Awards:
As the largest source of consumer satisfaction information in the marine industry, The Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index Awards program provides consumers with an unbiased source of information regarding satisfaction opinions of their fellow new boat and engine buyers. Each year the Marine Industry CSI Awards program honors participating manufacturers that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve the consumer. Award recipients achieve and maintain an independently measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in initial customer satisfaction over an annual award period. This measurement is based on responses provided by customers purchasing a new boat and/or engine.
