Congrats to Regina Jaquess for tying her own slalom world record and being selected as USA Water Ski's Athlete Of The Month For September!


Regina ran 3 buoys at 41 feet off on September 15 on her way to winning the women’s slalom title at the 2013 Diablo Shores Pro-Am at Bell Acqua Lakes in Rio Linda, California. Regina tied the world record in the semifinals and then went on to defeat Canada's Whitney McClintock in the head-to-head finale, scoring 6 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off to McClintock's 1-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off. Regina also tied her own world slalom record of 3 buoys at 41 feet off in earning the top score at the 2013 Cottonwood Fall Record One on Sept. 28 in Bossier City, La. She also finished runnerup in the women’s jumping event at LA Night Jam V on Sept. 28 in Zachary, Louisiana, with a distance of 173 feet, one foot shy of the winning distance by Australia’s Jacinta Carroll.
