This French Canadian’s meteoric rise in 2012 was nothing short of phenomenal. Taking the overall title at the inaugural Red Bull Wake Open was one of the best achievements in all of wakeboarding history. The event consisted of boat riding, wake park and a big air kicker contest, where Raph took 3rd, 1st and 1st respectively. While touring the world, scoring two magazine covers and producing an insane web video, Raph went on to win “Best Wakeboarder” at the TransWorld Wake Awards as well as Alliance’s Rider Of The Year. His 2012 season goes down as one of the best ever and definitely the most diverse. At home in Canada, Raph rides with his brother Olivier behind their WAKESETTER 22 MXZ.
