Watch Yourself Reach New Heights with Flo-cam

The Malibu Boats (@MalibuBoats) Flo-cam Rear View Rider Camera System pushes the limits of typical action sports cameras way outside the box. This smooth swiveling camera follows the athlete in tow with fluid motion. The Flo-cam can be adjusted to your water sport of choice and is viewable live or recorded through the MaliView Dash System. Captured footage is easily editable and the camera itself can be used in any number of action sports situations thanks to its multi-dimensional design. Watch yourself reach new heights behind a Malibu boat.

The secret behind camera innovation is the Patented Swivel Head Pylon mount. The Flo-cam enclosure is based on the smooth action of Malibu’s award-winning pylon head. Built with a needle bearing core, the swivel head pylon rotates the Flo-cam with the rope to capture the rider’s performance minus the jerky motion you get from other camera options on the market.

Malibu Boats has also built an angle adjustment into this camera system that allows the camera to capture action near the back of boat for disciplines like wakesurfing as well as a Team Malibu rider wakeboarding with a long line.

When those personal bests are preserved and ready for playback head to the dash for a look at MaliView. The Flo-cam is wired to Malibu’s 6.5-inch full color dash system for high quality playback even in full sun. For another view take a look at the Flo-cam drive in the glove box. It has a small screen for viewing too.

When your wake talents are spent and you’re ready to make the magic you made behind the boat into a movie get to it. Grab the 2 gig SD card and head for your machine. Captured footage can be edited on MAC or PC with a variety of software.

In addition to all of this function on the water, the Malibu Boats Flo-cam will go where you go to capture you in action. Take it out of the boat and mount it to your helmet or whatever other apparatus you use for extreme sport. The Flo-cam can capture your personal best no matter where they may be.

Team Malibu Dominates Slalom at Masters
Will Asher Wins Masters

People: Team Malibu Slalom Dominates Masters

Malibu Boats (@MalibuBoats) Will Asher (@WillAsher) won Masters over the weekend. The 51st Masters Water Ski Tournament went off at Callaway Garden's Robin Lake in Pine Mountain, GA over Memorial Day Weekend. The current Men's Slalom World Champion was joined by Malibu teammates Nick Parsons and Thomas Degasperi in this win. The Team Malibu Boats Pro Slalom contingent took three of the four top finishing spots to completely dominate this segment of The Maters competition.

Great Britain's Will Asher won the Masters Men's Slalom Title for the third consecutive year and fourth time in his career, scoring 5 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off. U.S. athlete Nick Parsons finished second with 3-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off, followed by U.S. athlete Jamie Beauchesne (2-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off) and Italy's Thomas Degasperi (2-1/2 buoys at 38 feet off).

Training behind the world record-breaking Response LXi ski boat is something Team Malibu Pro Slalom athletes will always attribute to their success, but the talent and dedication these competitors possess is even more significant. It is a winning combination!

We are extremely proud of the amazing showing Team Malibu, and especially Will, put fourth this Memorial Day. Way to go Will, Nick and Thomas you all definitely rocked the waters of Robin Lake Malibu Boats style! Keep it up!

Soven Wins Fort Wroth PWT Stop
Soven Wins Fort Worth PWT Stop

People: Soven Wins 2nd Pro Tour Stop

Team Malibu Boats (@MalibuBoats) Pro Factory Rider Phillip Soven (@PhillipSoven) dominated in Fort Worth yesterday at the 2nd Pro Tour Stop of the year.

The field was narrowed to six of the sports best wakeboarders on Saturday. Austin Hair, Bryan Hutton, Rusty Malinoski, Phillip Soven, Danny Harf and Olivier Derome competed for the top spot. Malinoski was top seed going in, but his performance didn't measure up to two-time Pro Tour titlist Soven.

It was a Backside 720 off the double up that sealed the deal for the Malibu Boats Pro, with Malinoski and four-time X Games gold medalist Danny Harf rounding out the top three, respectively.

“I rode really well, stuck my Back 7 and came out on top,” said Soven. “I didn’t expect to win; really thought Rusty [Malinoski] had it, but I ended up taking Fort Worth."

Soven and Malinoski are tied with 180 going into the 3rd PWT stop of the season next week in Kentucky, with Soven taking the tie-breaker due to his win on Saturday.

Way to go Phillip! Everyone at Malibu Boats is pulling for you! Keep it up!
