The all-new MEFI 7 system is built on GM’s latest-generation E92 Engine Control Module—an advanced controller used across multiple GM vehicle platforms. Far more than just a fuel injection unit, this ECM delivers full engine management capability, including precise torque control, advanced diagnostics, knock control, and integrated cruise strategies. Developed in collaboration with Malibu Monsoon Powertrain Engineering, the MEFI 7 is tailored specifically for the unique demands of tow sports applications, featuring tight integration with Malibu Setpoint Control for smooth and responsive cruise performance on the water.

The custom cast, patent-pending front-end accessory drive (FEAD) features a fully integrated cooling system where engine oil fluid temperatures are controlled in a single integrated system that uses an environmentally friendly coolant instead of raw water.

All three engines now feature vastly improved winterization capability, with each engine's winterization drains now all located in one easy-to-access location.
