For 2018, customers can choose between the Diamond Multisport Hull for crossover performance or the Wake Plus Hull for wake and surf specialization. Both hull options deliver optimal tracking and handling, and Malibu backs them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Malibu’s I.S.P.™ wake enhancement and control technologies enable wakeboarders and wakesurfers from beginner through advanced to easily modify the size, length and shape of wake and surf waves.

Power Wedge II supplements the 22 VLX’s internal Hard Tank Ballast System by adding up to 1,500 pounds of simulated wake and wave-creating capabilities at the touch of a button. Meanwhile, Surf Gate shapes the wake into a huge, surfable wave on either side of the boat, and with the Surf Band wrist remote, riders can control wake and surf settings, boat speed and even tower speaker volume, right from the water.

“The 22 VLX delivers classic Malibu luxury and cutting-edge engineering, empowering customers with the ability to tailor the hull and options to their specific watersports preferences,” said Eric Bondy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Malibu Boats. “We can build the 22 VLX as an outstanding wake boat or as an exceptionally versatile crossover.”

The new 22 VLX is available now via Malibu’s exclusive authorized international dealer network.
