The fan favorite Eat Play Love festival is coming back to the Germany community on August 23 through 25, 2019. Located in Cologne, Germany, Eat Play Love – Europe’s largest water sports festival – will take place for its fourth year on the Fühlinger See and aims to bring together wakeboarding, food trucks and music in a weekend festival.
The makers of Cologne’s original Street Food Festival will find the perfect playground at the Eat Play Love event to install their culinary world tour in an exciting environment. All Weekend enjoy the various food trucks from 22 local vendors. While you watch the best of the best leave it all on the water, enjoy the food trucks that bring flavors and dishes from around the world right to you.
It’s amazing to see the passion for wakeboarding, wakesurfing and waterskiing the German community has, and Eat Play Love is the perfect embodiment of that. Friday and Saturday will see pros from around the world come together to compete at the prestigious German National Wakeboard Championship. Sunday will continue the stoke with the Wakeboard World Series (WBWS) Semifinals, WBWS Last Chance Qualifiers, and WBWS Finals all pulled behind a pro-loved Malibu Wakesetter to compete for a prize of 30,000 €. We can’t wait to see what stylish grabs, tricks, and inverts that the pros will throw at Eat Play Love.
Wakeboarding is more than a sport. It truly embodies a way of life. That’s why Eat Play Love is more than just watching a sport. While you’re there, you will get to experience a musical program that in itself will attract one or more guests to the lake. Many talented artist and DJs such as BONDI, KID SIMIUS, David Hasert, and many more will be there performing live.
